• As a part of the CSR activities and with the vision of public service, VIA established “Vatva Industrial Association Charitable Trust” (VIACT) in the year 1996.
• VIACT founded the hospital in Vatva Industrial Area in 1997.
• VIACT hospital treats labourers, employees, owners of the industries in Vatva, and residents of the surrounding area.
• The patients at the VIACT Hospital are charged nominal rates for all the consultations.
• The several honorary medical faculty visitors include, General Practitioner, E.N.T. Specialist, Paediatrician, Physician, Radiologist, Gynaecologist, Homoeopathist, Pathologist, Ophthalmologist, Surgeon, Skin Specialist.
• VIACT hospital arranged several camps in the previous years, with the help of other charitable organisations. The following Free Check-up Camps were arranged: Diabetes & Blood Pressure, Aids Control, Dental, Congenital Diseases, Eye, Asthma, ENT Diseases TB & Lung Diseases, Cleft Palate, Paediatric Diseases.
• Vatva Industrial Area has made it possible for a huge amount of manpower to be employed. Hence VIA has nurtured this as a golden opportunity for blood collection. As a result VIA has been arranging 2-4 Blood Donation Camps every year.
• Members of VIA are also benefited for the mandatory check-up of their labourers as per the Factory Act.
• A new VIACT Hospital Complex with all modern facilities like pathology laboratory, radiology, ENT & Dental diagnostics and minor surgeries, has already been planned. Which shall be functioning in coming years.
